The Blog is moving again!

Posted by Michelle on October 1, 2008

Good Morning!

For many months we have been setting up the new site and trying to move my blog seamlessly to another address making the transition easy for my readers. We have been working actively corresponding with tech and customer support, moving the blog to different hosts (twice now), in order to redirect the address to the new address and, unfortunately it has been quite challenging. I am still confident that my tech guy can pull this off, meaning that when you click on this blog: http://michellemoquin.wordpress.com in your browser, it will seamlessly take you over to the new blog without you having to enter in the new address: http://blog.michellemoquin.com.

However, in the mean time, we are going to prepare for the move manually like we did over 6 months ago when I moved my blog from my .mac account to here at WordPress.  And like I did before, I gave all of you enough of a notice before the blog made its final move. So, that being said, this is your notice:

THE NEW BLOG ADDRESS STARTING ON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 15, 2008 WILL BE: http://blog.michellemoquin.com

Please add this new site to your Bookmarks Bar and your RSS feed.

The new blog is up and running now and virtually looks the same. Please feel free to check it out, but please do not go there and comment until the actual first day of the move, Wednesday October 15. Up until then please still read and comment here.  We will be uploading daily so that when the move is complete on Wednesday, the blog will be contemporary and there will be no reason for you to ever come back to this address again.  If the automatic redirect happens before then, I will inform you.  Any questions on this, blog me.

So why am I moving the blog?

Simple.  I know that you my readers count on me to write everyday.  And I love writing everyday,  but a girl has got to make a living.  As I mentioned last year, I wanted to start advertising. Nothing in your face, just a few ads here and there, and possibly some cool items to buy. If I can generate some revenue doing something that which I love to do, then it is time to grow this blog and get paid for my time. I know, for those of you that have been with me from the beginning, you thought I was going to be doing that here.  When I moved over to WordPress, I thought so too. Unfortunately this division of WordPress does not work that way…long story not worth getting in to.

So…there you have it. Feel free to comment.

Oh…and just so that you don’t forget about the move I will be doing a daily countdown just as I did before so that everyday you will be aware of the number of days left before the final move on Wednesday October 15. I know that most of you read daily, but I don’t want to lose any of you in the process of the change.

Thanks for your patience with this. I could use some as I have lost mine in these past months!

Can you be open enough to see beyond your wildest imagination? Will you allow yourself?

Posted by Michelle on September 14, 2008

Good Morning.

Wow – I am blown away by your story Maya. For you this must’ve been especially amazing. What am I saying?!…For ANYONE…this would be as you said, ’stunning’.  We have all been told by the aliens on my blog  that religion was a myth made up for humans to keep us in line so to speak. That without religion we would pretty much be more greedy and more barbaric to each other and that because of the ‘fear of God’ many ‘behave’ just that much more kind to each other…if you can call this world ‘kind’.

Hmmm…I find it quite amusing that dear Elijah wished he had taken on that ‘job’ of Jesus. I wish that I was with you Girls to experience this fascinating planet Jehu and to sip wine with Elijah. (Girlz to be: A test was given. No one wrote in to acknowledge the test.) Please tell him if you visit again that I would be delighted to meet him too.  I love those with a great sense of humor, and he obviously has one.

Still…I am curious as to where Jesus is residing now. Perhaps a trip there sometime?

Hi Courtney:  Not sure if you were talking about my article or Maya’s story but either way happy that you read what you needed to hear.

Hello Barbara:  Open your mind. Is it not possible for there to be other life forms other than us humans?  To me that is not a difficult thing to imagine let alone be a reality. To me strong female role models are women who aren’t trapped by what society expects or pinned to any ideology. A strong female role model doesn’t close her mind to those things that can not be proven, but looks past the obvious and sees the possibilities of what is not seen. I am open and boundless with my imagination, my thoughts…etc., and if I can inspire women, or men to being more open and courageous in their thinking, to see another side and not be so heavily influenced by what society imparts on them…to have a mind of their own, then I am happy to be a role model if that is what I am seen as.  But don’t expect me to be a role model strictly under the definition of your role model.

I think Shelly was talking to you and I have to agree with her words, as I have said them before….’If it bothers you don’t read it’. And I will add, “Read what you like, what inspires you, but I might also suggest to try to be open to the possibilities of other worldly existence.  You certainly can not prove that there isn’t. Obviously you have been reading here for a while and you keep coming back.  There’s a reason for this. You might learn something valuable about yourself if you can expand your mind. :) Will you allow yourself?

Hey Charles: No, all men aren’t bad and no one is saying they are. You do have company :)

Hello Anon:  I’m not sure why you are reading this shit – why are you? And by the way ’sacred’ to me is a term that is different for everyone…What is sacred to one may not be sacred to another. No one is insulting religion; just giving another viewpoint. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of other blogs that will identify with your religion. Bit if you want something to shake up your world, give you another viewpoint, expand your mind, then stick around.

Hi Tony:  I’m sure you’ve heard of the ‘boys club’…well, for once in this world, this is  the ‘girls club’. Sorry, no one with a head between their legs is allowed. :-P

Hi Annie:  The girls are picked if they state an interest in going. Simple as that. We had a ‘call’ awhile ago but I am sure that there is room for more. You can try emailing me but it is my instinct that Tal will be reading this and he will get ahold of you.

Hi Yuki:  To my knowledge there are girls from all over the world up in space now. If you would like to be considered, I am assuming you are asking, yes? Then, I am pretty sure you will be contacted.

Hello women of Cambodia! Thank you for the ‘love’.

Hi Umeyo:  Would you like to be a girl too? 女の子であるのを好むもか。

Running late…got to sign off. As always…

Style Your Sole

Posted by Michelle on August 24, 2008

Good Morning!

It is Sunday, a day for relaxing and for not getting too heavy. I’m all over that. How about a little inspirational film? This was sent to me by a good friend and I thought the concept was worthy of getting a little airtime on my blog.  For those of you thinking, ‘What could I possibly do to help in this world?’ Blake Mycoskie came up with an idea, Tom’s Shoes, and ran with it. (pun intended) Simple. I like it – you? :-P

‘The more you give the more you live.’

-friend of Blake Mycoskie/Tom’s Shoes

Love, love, love the quote too.

Oh…Hello Szhi: Good question, why do they occupy the same spot of this huge planet if they could separate and never see each other? I would think one would choose to leave but that brings up some questions: Is the rest of the planet just as rich with resources as where they are now or have they not traversed the planet to find out? Is there anyone besides these two groups inhabiting the planet?

I have a few other questions that come to mind. I do find it funny that they both landed in exactly the same area thousands of years ago and have been civilized until now. What changed? Just the growth of the ‘tree’ line or is there another reason besides the obvious that they both choose to fight over this one particular area? Does one groups idea for the tree line affect the other group differently as in physically or mentally or is it just a difference of opinions? Maybe the affects of the gasses are effecting each group differently.

I think it is a good idea that some of the girls have suited up as the two members so that they can hang with them for awhile and see if there is something else that is adding to the hostility. Separating them isn’t such a bad idea but the question still remains why they have not come to that conclusion themselves. Are they just being territorial or is it something else? Maybe it is a social or a religious difference. What are the hidden dangers that you speak of if you decide to separate them?

Lots of questions. Good luck in your decision.

Peace out….

The guidance you seek is within yourself

Posted by Michelle on August 23, 2008

Hi Lillie:  No, you are not bothering me. Your concerns are taking my mind off of my own which could use a little rest, so thank you. I am here always.

First, If Tao felt that you were not ready or right to be where you are now, you would be back on earth. So I would not fear that you will be sent back home because you have different ideas than the other girls. Trust your intuition – age has nothing to do with it. It is the one who stands alone in her own beliefs that shows a sign of strength, courage, and leadership. I am sure there are others who feel the same way as you but are too afraid and are just hoping that you’ll be strong for them too.

Secondly, there is nothing wrong with looking for god or looking to god for advice and direction.  God comes in many forms and shows up differently for everyone who believes in a god.  I believe that god exists only in a different form than you may think. Yes the aliens have told us that Jesus was a myth created by aliens to get us to be civilized, and I believe this. As much as many wars have been fought over  religion, if we didn’t have religion, many people would be even more barbaric to each other than we are now. Religion keeps people in line; their fear of what god may do if they are not good. However to God there is no good, bad, or ugly.

If you feel you need Jesus…no one should tell you differently. If belief has served you in life no one should tell you to to give up what gives you guidance. However respect those that do not have your same belief system and do not push your beliefs onto others. We all have guidance in some form whether it be god, intuition, a higher power, what ever.  In my mind it is all good as long as no one judges the other for not having the same belief structure.  You are obviously being judged for yours.

You are correct. The suits are powerful and I imagine that one could feel god-like knowing that you have no competition on the planet. Knowing this one could easily overlook facts and details and just do as one pleases because one can.  However, in my opinion, God does not care if you use or misuse the ‘awesome’ power.  If God cared he would do something about the misuse of powers on earth and other planets. I believe that God observes what his creations are doing and leaves it up to them to figure it all out.  If  god created and controlled everything how bored god would be.

It is my belief that the guidance you seek is already within yourself….you have already found the answer to your question.  Your own intuition has told you that should get to know who these two parties are,  not just what their plans are for the planet and its scarce resources. We all know that what one proposes verbally is not always the truth.  Just like our candidates running for office here on earth, they quote one thing live to the public and yet they vote in the contrary.  I think you are wise for wanting to spend some time getting to know these two groups. Again, trust your intuition.

Not knowing who these two groups of people are, I cannot make a decision of who you should side with.  However I think you are correct and I think the girls are correct too. Being concerned about what is best for the planet is very important but religion is powerful and I think it is wise to know if it is a driving motivating force here. How can you know which group of people to side with if you know nothing about them? That is like the people of this planet, making stupid decisions on who to vote for when they have not done their research before they make choices on that ballot that they are so privileged to make.

Yes the easy thing would be to just take over and demand peace and I’m sure that you could do that. But what happens after when you and the girls are long gone? If you truly want harmony for this planet…when deciding on the fate of a planet and its inhabitants I think all sides need to be looked at.

That being said, I am sure that you girls will make a wise and informed decision for what’s best for the planet, its resources and its inhabitants.

Peace out….

Gratefully your blog host,

michelle
